Bumble bee cupcake toppers

A customer asked me to maker her only the toppers for cupcakes. 6 bumble bees :)
All fondant (photo quality isnt the best. They were super cute, they have smiles)

Hippie Van cake

My cousins mother-in-law was having her 60th birthday with a 60s theme. She asked for a cake to resemble the 60s... this is what I came up with. Everything is fondant, piped green buttercream grass. The peace signs, letters and a few flowers were cute from fondant that I swirled together to get the tie-dye look

Lego cupcakes

My little brother in law is THE Lego expert. We made him surprise Lego cupcakes for his 9th birthday.

I made red, yellow, green and blue Lego blocks in different sizes and made yellow Lego man heads with varying expressions (edible marker). Pretty fun to make :)

Horse cake

I was challenged to make a cake with the theme of horse riding. My second attempt at making a fondant person. Horse, jump and flowers made from fondant as well. Green buttercream piped on with grass tip.

Despicable Me minion cake

Despicable Me minion cake for Blake's 3rd birthday.

Sorry for the weird reflection off the cake board

"Holy crap, you're old!" cake

I got a request to make toilet cake for an over the hill birthday. This is what i came up with. What do you think? All the details were so fun :)

The toilet had 3 sections, covered in fondant individually, then assembled. Then I added all the fun details. The tooth brush and toothpaste on the tank, blue piping gel used for the toothpaste. Silver flush handle. I piped blue buttercream on for a shaggy rug with a grass tip. The yellow liquid in the toilet bowl is yellow piping gel. The toilet paper roll was made by rolling out white fondant super thin and adding a quilted pattern with a rolling texture cake tool. I used an edible black marker for the writing.

Pink/green/teal owl & paisley cake

Hot pink, lime green and teal owl and paisley theme cake for my niece Braelyn's 7th birthday

Dinosaur cupcakes

My sweet handsome Remy turned 2!! I decided to make dinosaur cupcakes. I made dinosaurs, spotted dino eggs, and piles of bones from fondant :) They were pretty fun to make.

Its so fun watching the kids pick out which cupcake they liked best. Remy picked the boring one lol

Sushi cake

Sushi!!
I love sushi. This cake was so fun. I made this for my husband's cousins 18th birthday. Everything is made out of fondant except the message in the fortune cookie (paper). Shredded coconut was used as rice :)

Wreck-it-Ralph theme cake

Wreck-it-Ralph theme cake for my nephew Ryan's 5th birthday. Ralph character on top is a candle, everything else is fondant

Rustic burlap wedding cake

I made this wedding cake for my husbands best friends wedding. 3 tiered, rustic ivory buttercream. These burlap dahlias made the cake beautiful.

I wish the photo showed the milk glass stand with lace and twine holding the cake. So beautiful

Princess Ariel cake

Princess Ariel in her green dress. My second attempt at a 'Barbie in a dress' cake. The first time I winged it and used random cake pans and carved her shape. This time I purchased the Wilton Wonder Mold. I used an Ariel doll and created her whole dress from fondant... from the bottom ruffles to the poofs and sleeves on her dress. I think she turned out spectacular.

Ivory wedding cake

This wedding cake was made for my in-laws wedding. 3 tiered, ivory fondant with draping and pearls, with ivory silk ranunculus flowers

Pink ombre' cake

I only ever used fondant as a medium... since I started making cakes years ago. I thought buttercream cakes looked 'tacky'. I need more practice, but Im learning to love new trending styles of buttercream cakes that don't look like they came from Walmart.

I made this pink ombre' buttercream cake for my little sister-in-law's 11th birthday. Gorgeous. I also made the pink ruffled flower on top from fondant and edible white pearls

Minnie Mouse theme cake

Next to Ariel, Minnie Mouse is probably one of the more popular characters I get requested. Here is a Minnie Mouse cake a little different from the one I did a few weeks ago. All fondant :)

University of Kansas cake

Blue University of Kansas Jayhawk cake. Jayhawk on top was made from edible sugar paper, navy blue ribbon on bottom.

Gender reveal cupcakes
